Jeddah Season 2024 Features Immersive Monet Exhibition

The 2024 installment of Jeddah Season will featuring Oscar-Claude Monet’s famous artworks.

The “Imagine Monet” exhibition, a first for Jeddah, promises to be the biggest immersive expeirence for visitors.

Modern technology enhanced over 200 of Monet’s paintings, creating a visual feast.

These artworks are displayed as 360-degree projections on the floor and walls.

The exhibition will take spectators through Monet’s career highlights, focusing on his genius use of light and color.

“Imagine Monet” will showcase Monet’s masterpieces from his 1872 “Impression, Sunrise” and 1914-1926 “Water Lilies” collections.

Visitors can visit a discovery room where they can learn more about Monet’s life and paintings.

Saudi e-visa holders can seize the opportunity to experience Imagine Monet while they are in the kingdom.

Guests from all walks of life can experience the exhibition at the Jeddah Corniche until July 28, 2024.

It opens at 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and 4:00 p.m. on weekends.

Tickets cost SAR 45 for adults and SAR 25 for children aged three and above.

Jeddah Season 2024

Saudi Arabia launched its much-anticipated Jeddah Season 2024 on June 27th.

Entitled “Once Again,” the event makes a historic comeback after a two-year break.

Saudi nationals, residents, and visitors can enjoy an exciting array of activities for the whole family, from Warner Bros. Discovery: Celebrate Every Story, to different entertainment shows, Arabic plays, and games.

They can also enjoy sampling food or going shopping in the available retail spaces.

Several international concerts will also mark the Jeddah 2024 season.

These different activities and shows are spread out in different designated areas, from the City Walk, the Jeddah Yacht Club, Jeddah Promenade, Imagine Monet, and Prince Majid Park.

Jeddah Season typically takes place during Saudi Arabia’s spring and summer months.

Saudi Arabia’s spring months are between mid-March to mid-June.

Meanwhile, the Saudi summer months fall between June to August.

It commonly happens after Eid al Fitr, offering numerous entertainment, sports, cultural, and food events held along Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast.

Other Saudi Seasons apart from Jeddah Season happen throughout the year.

These promote various natural landscapes, tourist, and entertainment attractions.

It was first launched in 2019 by the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage.

About the “Imagine Monet” exhibition

Imagine Monet is a world-famous art exhibition that has been to London and Los Angeles.

The exhibition is likened to that of a waking dream, offering a multisensory experience.

French filmmakers Julien Baron and Annabelle Mauger created Imagine Monet, making them pioneers of the immersive art form.

Mauger directed the world’s first fully digital art exhibition, Imagine Van Gogh, in 2008.

She and Baron would co-found lililillilil in 2017, the production powerhouse behind Image Totale.
