Futuristic city NEOM has unveiled the first designs of the Sindalah Yacht Club. Italian lifestyle brand Stefano Ricci is behind these designs, redefining luxury travel for yacht owners and high-end travelers.
More than a yacht club, Sindalah is a lifestyle destination that marries opulence with sustainability. The marina offers berths capable of accommodating superyachts up to 180 meters long. IGY Marinas, which specializes in setting luxury nautical tourism standards, will be managing the yacht club.
It will also feature a terrace pool, lounge, and a fine-dining restaurant led by Italian chef Enrico Bartolini. Bartolini is the only chef to receive four Michelin stars at the same time for three different restaurants. Collectively, the Michelin Guide has collectively awarded him 13 Michelin stars.
Moreover, visitors can also indulge in premium services, from concierge offerings to fine dining. All this while soaking up the breathtaking views of the Red Sea.
Stunning design elements
White carrara marble, with accents of “Sindalah Blue” will adorn the interiors of the Sindalah Yacht Club. Sindalah Blue is a custom color that took inspiration from the waters surrounding the island. In addition, the yacht club will feature briar-root wood surfaces, a coffered ceiling, and handwoven textiles from Florence’s Antico Setificio Fiorentino. The Italian atelier boasts of its artisanal silk production and array of Renaissance silk damasks and silk and linen brocades.
Sindalah general manager Nicholas Smith expressed his excitement over Sindalah Yacht Club’s collaboration with Stefano Ricci.
“As we place the finishing touches on NEOM’s inaugural island destination, we are thrilled to share with the world a behind-the-scenes look at what Sindalah will have to offer,” he said. “Our partnership with Stefano Ricci represents our dedication to enthralling future visitors and offering a truly premium experience for the world’s yachting enthusiasts,” he added.
On the other hand, Stefano Ricci himself spoke about his reasons for working with NEOM and Sindalah.
“I entered the Sindalah Yacht Club project because I believe that NEOM is a visionary undertaking ahead of its time, like Florence which became the cradle of the Renaissance,” he noted. “It’s a beautiful jump into the future that recalls our mission,” he added. “As a Florentine designer, I hope to have conveyed the fine stylistic balance that ideally unites these two worlds.”
