Saudia Wins ‘Best Airline Cabin Crew’ at 2024 US Awards

Saudia Airlines has received the award “Best Airline Cabin Crew” at the prestigious Business Traveler North America Awards 2024. The ceremony took place in Miami, USA, highlighting Saudia’s excellence in in-flight service and unmatched hospitality.

This accolade marks a significant milestone for Saudia as it continues to elevate passenger experiences worldwide. The award, presented for the first time this year, acknowledges outstanding cabin crew performance in service quality, attentiveness, and professionalism.

Saudia stood out among global competitors, reflecting its unwavering commitment to delivering top-tier in-flight service. This achievement aligns perfectly with the airline’s broader mission to showcase authentic Saudi hospitality on a global stage.

The essence of Saudi hospitality and culture

Rossen Dimitrov, Saudia’s Chief Guest Experience Officer, expressed immense pride in the recognition. He also highlighted how the recognition aligns with Saudi Arabia’s broader Vision 2030 strategy, which emphasizes elevating the nation’s global standing in aviation and tourism.

“This award is a testament to the hard work and professionalism of our cabin crew in delivering world-class service,” he remarked.

Saudia’s other milestones

The airline’s focus on passenger satisfaction has been evident through its continuous investment in enhancing services and expanding its fleet. Thoughtful touches combined with state-of-the-art amenities create a memorable travel experience for passengers.

Previously, Saudia has also earned recognition such as the “World’s Most Improved Airline” at the 2024 Skytrax Awards. The carrier has won the award for the third time: in 2017, in 2023, and in 2024. Saudia also won Best Economy Class Airline Catering at the prestigious awards.

In June 2024, it also ranked first globally for on-time performance. The Saudi flag carrier outranked other global airlines for the month, spanning its network of over 16,000 flights worldwide.

What’s ahead for Saudia

Looking ahead, Saudia has ambitious plans to continue enhancing passenger experiences. The airline is working on fleet modernization and expanding its global reach. These efforts are designed to ensure passengers experience comfort and luxury on every journey.

Saudia also embarked on the following initiatives to further cement its position as a world-class, top-tier airline.

For instance, in July, the airline signed a deal with eVTOL manufacturer Lilium to produce up to 100 jets. The arrangement marks the largest order yet for eVTOL aircraft. Moreover, it also solidified Saudi Arabia’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and creating a more sustainable transport system.

In October 2024, Saudia hosted its second travel fair in Jakarta to showcase the carrier’s special services for Indonesian travelers.
