The recently concluded Jeddah Season 2024 was one for the books, attracting more than 1.7 million visitors. The annual event ran from June 27 to August 16, drawing both local and foreign tourists over 52 days.
Young and old, families, couples, and more enjoyed the variety of activities and attractions offered around Jeddah. With the title of “Once Again,” Jeddah Season 2024 marks its historic comeback after two years.
Warner Bros. Discovery: Celebrate Every Story
For instance, families especially loved the Warner Bros. Discovery: Celebrate Every Story, which featured colorful Warner Bros. characters. These included DC superheroes, Harry Potter characters, and Looney Tunes icons.
Jeddah Season 2024 organizers divided the Warner Bros. Discovery attraction into different subzones. These were the Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight, Justice League Hero Training, and Tom and Jerry: Cheese Town attractions. Meanwhile, there were also other subzones such as the Warner Brothers Discovery Celebration & Animation, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
Some of the most memorable features were the Batmobile, life-sized DC figures, and the recreated Tom and Jerry sets. Potterheads also got to wear Hogwarts costumes and visit Hagrid’s Hut. Meanwhile, other guests watched the live-stage shows “Looney Tunes: Get in the Game” and “Tom and Jerry Mini Orchestra Performance.”
Imagine Monet and Historic Jeddah
In addition, art lovers also flocked to Jeddah Season 2024 to check out the “Imagine Monet” exhibition, a first for Jeddah. It featured over 200 of Oscar-Claude Monet’s famous artworks from his 1872 “Impression, Sunrise” and his 1914-1926 “Water Lilies” collections.
Imagine Monet organizers treated art fans to an immersive and multisensory experience with 360-degree projections on the walls and floor.
Jeddah Season 2024 also allowed visitors to learn about the Historic Jeddah District, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The location features Jeddah’s rich heritage over 400 years.
Apart from the various attractions and shows, visitors also enjoyed the array of food, retail offerings, and sports tournaments. The Jeddah Corniche was the location for the Motosurf International Cup and the Summer Speed Festival. Motosurf features motorized surfboards while the Summer Speed Festival features high-speed cars doing complete laps around a racetrack.

Jeddah Season 2024’s success supports Saudi Arabia’s broader goal of establishing a sustainable entertainment sector and enhancing quality of life. It also acts as a way to boost the kingdom’s economy through tourism, diversifying the economy away from petroleum wealth.
The event typically takes during Saudi Arabia’s late spring or summer months, spanning mid-March to August. Apart from Jeddah Season, the country has nine other seasons spread throughout the year. These are the Saudi Seasons.
The Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage launched these in 2019, marking the transformation into a cultural exchange/celebration hub.
