Final Fantasy XIV Concert to Make Saudi Debut

Saudi Arabia will host its first-ever Final Fantasy XIV concert, “Echoes of Eorzea: A Decade of Final Fantasy XIV in Symphony.” The event will take place at Princess Nourah University Red Hall in Riyadh on November 28 and 29, 2024.

The concert celebrates the 10th anniversary of Final Fantasy XIV, with over 100 musicians from the world-renowned Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra. The Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra has been in existence since 1911.

The orchestra will perform the game’s iconic pieces, including tracks from “A Realm Reborn” and expansions leading up to “Endwalker.” In addition, the performances will also feature a captivating chorus and two powerful vocalists.

Audience members will experience immersive visual effects and music, bringing epic battlles and breathtaking landscapes to life. Moreover, the concert will transport fans to the heart of Eorzea, the fictional world of Final Fantasy XIV.

History of the Final Fantasy XIV concert

The concert traces its roots to 2017. The first edition took place in Tokyo, featuring music from the “A Realm Reborn,” a newer version of the game.

The following year, they toured North America, with Los Angeles and New York performances, featuring songs from the “Heavensward” expansion.

Fast forward to 2023, the Eorzean Symphony concert held its first concert outside of Japan, in Las Vegas and London. It featured a full-scale symphonic orchestra, choir, and vocalists.
