Industry professionals gathered at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center to discuss advancements in solar technology and energy storage.

Hithium’s Joint Venture

One notable highlight from the event is the joint venture between Chinese stationary battery manufacturer Hithium and local partner MANAT. They plan to establish a 5GWh battery factory in Saudi Arabia.

This facility will play a crucial role in supporting the kingdom’s renewable energy infrastructure. The partnership aims to enhance energy storage capabilities with battery energy storage systems (BESS). This development is a significant step towards achieving the kingdom’s renewable energy goals.
